8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have gone to Keenan since it opened years ago. I have been very disappointed in the way that it is run. It seems like the staff care more about wearing matching shirts than putting real effort into our kids. They don't want you to come and volunteer in the classroom, unless they are doing parties. Probably because they don't want to see how it's ran. My husband has been a watch dog several times. While he was there he saw so many teachers not even in their rooms with the kids but gossiping in the halls. I can't believe how many movies they watch, even in library and music! How hard is it to teach music. We often go eat with our kids at lunch so we see a lot first hard. Some of the teachers are just flat out mean and bullies to the kids as seen during lunch. I have had to bite my tongue so many times. The teachers let the kids make tiktok videos in class and use their phones for whatever they want. "But the test scores are good" as the principle says. This is not only my opinion but that of many parents.Parent Review2y ago3 Reviews - Lake Creek High School

"There are often little farmers markets set up in the downtown area on weekends with different local venders. During Christmas time, some of the historical home owners will let the public walk thru their beautiful homes and everyone dresses up like the 1800’s. Montgomery definitely has a comforting, small town feel to it. Everyone knows everyone and everyone is pretty quick to help their neighbors. "

"Lively here for a short while, people are very nice, area is very nice and is growing at a nice pace. Popular area due to lake, always something to do. Area is off the commercial/retail path so not heavy traffic area. Overall somewhere children could be raised with family values. Unique with proximity of lake activities. Beautiful sunsets routinely-wouldn’t trade it."
