7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTransferred my kids to this school after terrible experience at Circle View and are SO HAPPY we did! This school is phenomenal! Principal is extremely involved. He is always outside greeting patents and students BOTH before and after school. School is newly remodeled, so classrooms are fully up to date and well stocked with NEW supplies and learning material. Library and indoor walkways are beautifully designed. Librarian is absolutely wonderful! She truly engages the students with thoughtful conversations about books read during storytime and is so knowledgeable with literature and finding books that students are interested in. Teachers are so great nd truly love their students. School spirit very well noticed, even from teachers! Younger grade classrooms have a lot of additional support from helper aids which is amazing! We are so thankful and happy to have transferred to this school!!! What a huge difference! We love College View school!Parent Review7mo ago20 Reviews - Mesa View Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt’s been incredible for both of my children. It’s small so the teachers and other staff are very involved with the kids. It’s diverse and encourages acceptance of others. Good programs such as IB and plenty of AP classes. Those that don’t fit into the high achieving academic group are not left behind. Everyone can find their niche. I know of many kids this year that we’re accepted at very reputable colleges such as Berkeley, UCLA and many others. I’m very happy that my children are at Ocean ViewParent Review8y ago40 Reviews - Check out schools near 16632 Bartlett Ln #1.

"We have lived in HB for 29 years. It used to be a sleepy little beach resort. Now that we are "on the map", traffic is terrible. If you live anywhere near Beach Blvd, Adams, Goldenwest or any of the other major streets (which there are many) you will hear traffic, especially motorcycles. Of course, this is just the price we pay for living in a city with great weather, access to upper scale shopping, freeway close to Disneyland, mountains and the desert. If you are considering HB and have never been here, I would consider visiting on a weekend so you can see and hear the impact the traffic will make on your daily life."

"I work based at home so I couldn’t tell ya. But it’s close enough to downtown when I have meetings down there to ride my bike down. And good access to freeways, the most I commute is to North County SD or Beverly Hills."
