"It’s a great little town if you want to live remote but not to far from a city. You have 2 decent sized cities 30 miles to the north and south. I live here but work in Harrisonburg, which is 30 miles south, the drive can be difficult and tiresome most days, however rent is a lot cheaper here compared to where I work. Driving 81 everyday can be a huge threat if you’re not careful, especially if you’re driving with a 2 year old. I do like this town a lot but I do not like driving 60 miles 5 days a week, it is hard on my car and myself physically and I wish I could find something closer to my job and still pay the same amount of rent for a 3 bedroom apartment/house. "

"I work in Harrisonburg and live in Edinburg because rent is cheaper. It is a very nice area however there’s nothing here but if you’re looking for a very quiet small town it’s perfect. You have Winchester(north) and Harrisonburg(South) both are 30 miles away and less than 5 miles up the road is Woodstock and it has a food lion, Walmart, Lowe’s, Sheetz and a few other places so you’re not completely secluded if you live here. "
  • Nicholas
"Rural community with nothing much to offer. This town would be perfect for older generations seeking isolation from other people."
  • Richmanwade
"in the area of edinburg I live there isnt many side walks or dog paths... but there is always a country dirt road that you can walk your dogs down. mine love to walk down the dirt roads "
  • Cherokeeironhorse1
"I've lived here for 5years and I only have 2 neighbors , on edge of dead end rd, we're edge of town and have bears real close ."
  • Heidiriddell23
"If you love really small towns, this is the place for you. It’s really quiet and safe. There’s not a whole lot going on and everyone knows each other. "
  • lv2skibryce
"Amazing home!!!! With breathtaking mountain views. Very quiet area. "
  • Richard M.
"This is a great area that is near shopping, a new elementary and high school nearby. Near a health care facility. "
