5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSchool has a past with throwing items at students, the water is yellow, inappropriate teachers who not only refuse to teach but say they don’t care if the school gets shot up, and an inappropriate principal in the past who refused to do anything about harassment of a student who’s nudes were spread until he saw the nudes of the underage girl. And now someone somehow mistakes oven cleaner.. for salt and puts it on pretzels. Incredible work Fowler. I’m always impressed.Other Review8mo ago12 Reviews - Tigard High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe love it, and have been in the community for years! THS is a great recently modernized school that provides a wide variety of well funded academic during and after school programs. Community is great, involed in support, fundraising and volunteering. The kids experience a great mix of education, community events and variety of socioeconomic groups of people. The athletic programs are fantastic and well funded and regularly compete in the most challenging league in the state. There is ample comittment to post highschool education and assistance programs that kids of all backgrounds and future expecations can take advantage of.Parent Review1y ago3 Reviews - Mary Woodward Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am shocked to see Mary Woodward as a 5 out of 10! My kids have been there for 3 years now and I can not say enough good things about both the teachers and administration! The teachers are so kind and encouraging. We have met so many wonderful families and my kids have made nice friends. If there is an issue, it is quickly addressed. Mr Nihill is wonderful and the school is so lucky to have him as the principal. The school is a 10 out of 10 in my book!Parent Review3y ago14 Reviews - Check out schools near 16566 SW Darwin Loop.

"Good and safe neighborhood for families. Interesting range of different house styles. There are not any regular events directly in the neighborhood. The neighborhood is well placed for access to different stores and services. But a vehicle is required to get to them. "

"Easy walking distance to the library, downtown Tigard, a weekly farmers market, a dog park, lovely trails along Fanno Creek, a skateboard park and and public transit. This is a safe community with respectful neighbors. We thought this would just be a starter home, but still here 14 years later. We enjoy it here a lot! "
