This school has amazing teachers who genuinely care about their students. However, as a parent, I can tell that the teachers are burnt out and do not feel appreciated.The biggest issue is the administration, particularly the principal, who does not seem to care about the parents or the staff. My son and daughter had amazing teachers, but the school is lacking in many areas. One of the most important areas is supporting and valuing its teachers and engaging with parents. Unfortunately, the principal does not appear to prioritize either.The school needs new leadership. With an administration that values communication, empathy, and support for both teachers and families, parent involvement would likely increase. However, it is difficult to build a strong school community when the current administration does not seem to care about or show empathy toward others.

I love this school, just came there and Im an freshman. Rgeardless people are going to say this is a bad school. IT IS NOT. They are very welcoming and nice. They have JROCT, cooking, Public speaking or Debate team/class and more. MUptiple luages classes like French, Spanish and Mandorian chinnise. Tons of sports Football, basketball, tenniss and volleyball track too! The techers are pretty nice they tey to help out as much as they can just ask them. The food her is AWSOME. For kids who have food issues they let anyone and everyone get as much as they need/want they should know the limits. Bring your kid here its awsome!!!

VVMS under the leadership of Mrs. Buscemi and her amazing staff is fantastic! We are so pleased with the experience our children have had here. Valley View has the BEST middle school music program in MDUSD. (Thank you , Mrs. Nesmith!) The accelerated math program really prepares the students for the next level and the parent involvement allows for so many extras for the kids. We love our school community! Go Jaguars!
