  • Britt
"Too many people. Nobody can drive. There’s always traffic even at 1am. Takes forever to get anywhere nowadays. Maybe if more people used public transportation there would be less cars on the road. "
  • Charlotte Richmond
"I don’t know I don’t own a dog. I imagine the wide sidewalks in some areas are nice for walking a dog"
  • Trulia User
"A lake open to the public is just across the street. Recreational water sport allowed, eg. Paddle Boarding, Kayaking. No motorized water vehicles allowed. "
  • Trulia User
"It has good access to public transport and shopping centers I love the area because it is very central "
  • Trulia User
"Close to freeway and transit and center ally located just 20 min drive from Seattle and an 90 min drive up north to Bellingham "
  • Trulia User
"From what I can remember about the area is that it's close to the mall where there's a lot of loud distracting noise. "
  • Trulia User
"A clean neighborhood with respectful neighbors. A school close by and lots of parks for kids. the most important thing we look for is a family friendly area."
  • Trulia User
"It’s great and neighbors are friendly but not in an intrusive kind of way. It’s a pretty quiet neighborhood"
  • Trulia User
"I find that the commute is fairly easy. Easy access to free way and 99. Some times it has slow lights."
  • CG
"We have been living here for over three years now! Very close to Alderwood mall, supermarkets, and a lot of restaurants. There are two park & ride stations with express buses to both Downtown Seattle and the University of Washington!"
  • Tracey.alden
"Dog park with poop stations. Poop stations every few blocks. Off leash parks for dogs to run free "
  • Cynthialeona1
"I live in a #RV park long term. People come and go. We have lived here over seven years. People are generally friendly. Close to all stores and fast food. All services are close by."
  • Cynthialeona1

  • Royfpersson
"North Lynnwood has plenty of Open spaces. Lots of other dog owners. Plenty of dog parks. Mostly families that own dogs. "
  • Debbiedothis2
"Only two ways into this area for my commute both are clogged during rush hour. County keeps approving building permits but does not do anything about the traffic issue"
  • Devin W.
"Lots of trees in the neighborhood, kinda tucked away from the city but also pretty close to everything. It is a nice little suburb but the houses are not too terribly close together. "
  • Shannon.atty
"convenient to shopping areas. I live in an apartment building next door to the building where I worked until just recently. So I had no problem with the commute."

"Public transportation is great! The commute to and from Seattle can be terrible though. Lynnwood is diverse like most communities though. Some good areas and some not as good areas. Over all however this is a nice middle to upper middle class area. "
  • Cbreezio648
"There are quite a few public parks around to take your dog to that would be a decent spots for you to go to"
  • Jessy A.
"It’s easy to get around but some of the roads could use a repair because of some of the cracks and potholes "
  • Alexandracsonto
"I like the quiet streets. Every park has a bag for dogs and trash bins also. I think it’s very well maintained neighborhood "
  • Amygrneye1966

  • Will A. K. F.
"Great area for a family. Quiet and safe feeling on our street. Nice routes to walk dogs or kiddos. Parks nearby"
  • Resident
"Road is very busy, cars race. Transients living in the green belt. People living in their cars on the side of the road until we call the police. I would never let my kids walk the road of 48th."
  • Fatlandfatty
"The neighborhood isn’t that bad, kids play outside and people are friendly. I’ve lived here for the last 10 years and haven’t had any major issues, "
  • Fatlandfatty
"There is a nice trail that wraps the perimeter of the municipal golf course, great for walking the dog or yourself! "
  • Maacpa
"There are a lot of residents out walking with their children or pets, which makes for a safer neighborhood. "
  • Emiraziel
"Dogs are friendly and always have leashes on. But they don’t walkways pick up after their dogs all the owners are friendly also "
  • Elizabeth V.
"Lynnwood is a great place to live! Everything is within walking distance from where I live, even the mall. The people are friendly, and the commute isn’t bad at all. "
  • Scott B.
"None. That’s the problem. But this location is not really a neighborhood. One end of the street is a transient community college. The other end dumps into 99 where there are mostly car dealerships. Gentrification is just starting with a couple people offering about $500k per house and slowly converting to new apartment / condo developments. A third of the street is a car lot, then a 30yr old cheap, ugly, low-income, 70 unit rental. In 10 years, the area will look completely different than the dirty unkempt mess it is now that nobody takes responsibility for."
  • Kristiehatton
"people drive really fast up streets be aware and dont let your kids outside near road . also coyotes are out at night. keep kids and pets indoors."
  • Marcela L.
"4th of July fireworks and garage sales. Near to a beautiful and family friendly lake where all summer the community enjoys to cool down in there. "
