This school is not good all there is is lying Theives my daughter has had a total of 23 things stolen from here in just a few months there are kids who bully luckily the teachers do something about it some teachers are great but majority are not my daughter has a teacher that does not explain anything and I do believe her many of her friends in the same classroom have agreed this teacher also doesn't let anyone know when the test is does not give anything to study to my daughter gets stressed because she hates that class she feels like the teacher gives her that grade because they don't like my daughter I have seen the work my daughter does and it very good yet she gets f's on her paper I really do believe that the school should watch what this teacher does because I think they need to be fired I have been in many meetings and stuff has happened but my daughter tells me that they will give her good grades for that week but next week she gives her straight f's there are many bullies when class is going but some teachers don't even talk up, even some have laughed according to daughter and her friends, many teachers yell at students for not even doing anything

Who's the ASL teacher at Steele school? I don't understand why Steele school or district 205 don't want help this dad help his son get his education he deserves my son is ten years old and has already been dropped from two schools in the state of Illinois because of his attendances he got got back in December at ISD in Jacksonville Illinois which was the best placement for him I don't understand why mom has such hard time getting him in school and why his home district let these attendance get so far outta hand that he gets dropped from two schools this has been a ongoing problem since he was in pre k and nothing has been done sad ISD in Jacksonville Illinois always called dad first school and the dorm staff they told dad thanks for helping Jayden he belongs with u full time

Teachers tend to ignore 504s and IEPS. I have autism and a sensitivity to loud noises. I wear noise-reducing wireless headphones as a result. I had a meltdown in the office because they refused to let me have noise-canceling headphones due to the "no Bluetooth devices" rule. They said the rule overrides my 504, which is done not. We had set up a meeting the next week, but they went ahead and pulled me out of class with no warning. When I started getting defensive they brought me to my counselor's office, which is small and can not fit more than 8 people properly. Long story short I had a panic attack and the staff stood there a stared, my counselor offered me a drink which I appreciated. Overall the people who care about children's education here make it obvious, and they do it for "easy money". We have had to fight the school every year to keep my 504.

Is 70 .5 unexcused absences acceptable in the state of Illinois stacy sharp my son's teacher why cant she communicate with parents and why isn't a crisis team called in because of these attendance please look into stacy sharp ability to teach our children she's not helping my son
