About this House

This 2 bedroom unit has a very large well equipped kitchen with full sized stove, refrigerator, garbage disposal and dishwasher. The kitchen features a "sit-up" bar. The 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment also has a storage room with washer and dryer connections. The walls and parti-walls are fully insulated for fire and sound protection. Windows are thermopane, double windows. Utility bills are minimal due to the additional insulation. The apartment is conveniently located to the LRAFB in a residential area near Foxwood Country Club. We built and rent these apartments and maintain them ourselves. Most of the apartments feature a lovely view out the sliding glass doors. Very quiet and peaceful setting. Many have ceiling fans and off street parking. The residents seem to personalize the apartments to get the feel of a cozy home and community. This apartment rents for $650 for two, $25 extra per person and $600 security deposit goes up accordingly. We are conveniently located near shopping, fishing, golf, lakes, bike and hiking trails. Owner pays for city water, garbage and sewer. Tenant pays for gas and electricity. Two parking places per apartment. Small dogs, $400 deposit per animal. Additional rental fee for more than 2 people. Prefer no smoking but if you do, additional $150 deposit. Tenant is responsible for maintaining the porches, sidewalks, and patios in a clean and safe manner. Upon vacating the apartment must be cleaned(including steam cleaning of the carpet) and the landlord notified 3 days before electrical turnoff. A cleanup list is provided upon request.
