This school (and lake county as a whole) allows bullying, and promotes a victim-blaming culture. If you’re an athlete, you can do and say whatever you want with no consequences. If you’re part of the “Mount Dora old money network” you pretty much run everything here.

Not only are all the reviews on this page completely accurate. They're right on point. The staff has disgusting behavior as well. They are rude and very dismissive any time You try to speak to them to get ahead of an issue. (99% of the time it being the transportation and the bus is running late. Which is a daily annoyance)I shouldn't have to email my son's first period teacher every single day to let them know that the bus is running late. If the school system is having an issue with their transportation department buses running late they should be communicating that to the school. They have a roster of the kids on the bus so there's no reason why they can't communicate with the school. So apparently we have to take time out of our work day to: call the school, get a "hold please" as the greeting, sit there for 10 minutes each time you have to call (God forbid they let you speak before they try to transfer you out of their ear) For the other department to now answer and explain to them that you weren't trying to get to their department you were trying to speak to the person that you originally called. I have to call back and do all that again and I have to be nasty and say do not put me on hold before they can finish talking. Only to then explain myself and let them know what is going on with the transportation so they can mark my son with an excused tardy. Only to then get told I have to email his first period teacher and let them know because that's The teacher that marks them late. However any other attendance issues that you have you have to talk to the people at the front desk. The rudest people you could have working in that school. Yes the teachers are rude. They're always upset about something it seems like. I never had this issue with Seminole county schools ever.

3rd year in this amazing school with 4 kids currently enrolled. Teachers, staff are amazing, kids and I love it so much. They've learned and grown soo much. Hate that they've had such poor scores and reviews.
