"My commute time can depend on the trains sometimes since I live South of my employer. I can usually circumnavigate on Fenton Rd to head north when there is a train across Van Slyke Rd. There is a bus stop or 2 right on Atherton Rd on the edge of Crestbrook subdivision for those who rely on public transportation."
    • Chrisy.neff
"Friendly neighbors, mix of multigenerational owners and renters. Lots of kids, safe enough to play and ride bikes around the neighborhood."
    • Chrisy.neff
"There are lots of families and many of us parents look out for all of the neighborhood kids as they play. The area feels safe for older kids to ride their bikes freely."

    • Trulia User
"Not the best neighborhood but not the worst most of my neighbors help each other the rental properties on my street are where most of the problems come from "

    • Brandie H.
"Like all cities there are some shady areas that are less desirable. The roads are horrible. Many nice areas & people. I have found that if you are respectful that is what you get in return. "
    • Trulia User
"everything you need is only 5 min away! including an elementary school a college and plenty of activities for families to indulge in. a bunch of housing and plenty of restaurants to try while in the area. "I feel the police presence is needed more but other than that it’s an OK neighborhood . The younger generation use the streets as a race track with no concern of the kids that are on the block for that reason I feel the police presence is needed more but other than that the street lights and well lit I don’t feel too much danger because I know the neighbors in this neighborhood"
    • Casey L.
"It’s just not a place to raise a family or settle down as a forever home at all not safe and people are rude"
    • Dtrouser
"it's an ok place to live. they are rebuilding and making better schools in the area as I type this. I live in an apartment and I like it. the police station is only like 5 minutes away and nothing is never more than a 15 min drive away"
    • Trulia User
"it is not so far out to be calledm "country " but it isnt quite city. It is conveniently located close to nieghbors yet no to close that you can noise yet"
    • Aewestrick
"they wouldn’t like the constant shootings, and how it is dangerous to walk alone. some areas are quite but most are dirty and really bad to be in "
    • Mahir S.
"I’ve lived her for little more than a year it can be a little stressful and it’s chaotic at times. Robberies and other crimes are on a regular occurrence it helps to have dogs and firearm for protection. "
    • Zo R.
"It’s a great neighborhood for long walks with the dogs. Friendly neighbors, families, just a few minutes drive to downtown restaurants and activities. Walk or bike easily to art museum, colleges, theater, planetarium, library. "
