6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is over all just terrible. Very few of the teachers genuinely care about their students, especially when it comes to bullying and mental health. I've seen kids going around with fresh and uncovered SH and none of the teachers will say a thing, not even guidance counselors. I once brought to the school's attention of another student's attempts and SH and I had to bring it to their attention multiple times before they did anything. The guidance counselors do nothing to help the students, they either send them out or tell them to stop being dramatic even when the student is overwhelmed they only care about themselves and their reviews. There are also many teaches who just don't teach, they'll just put on a video and throw a bunch of work at you and expect you to know what to do and a lot of them take forever to even put in grades even after being reminded.Student Review5mo ago13 Reviews - Duncan U. 8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school says they have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to physical violence but my daughter has been hit and pushed four times now and the school constantly sweeps it under the rug. My daughter has been going to this school since second grade and I couldn't be more disappointed in a school or government employees. You can have a girl hit my daughter on the bus twice and instead of removing that girl from the bus you leave that girl exactly where she's sitting and you move my daughter to the front of the bus. My daughter the one who's being assaulted is the problem?? My daughter gets pushed down at the playground by another girl and she's told to quote just stay away from that girl?? Neptune Beach Elementary is the worst Elementary School. Fifth grade was supposed to be an exciting time for my daughter but because you guys had the inability to stand up for her rights to not be physically assaulted she is so looking forward to being out of this school.Parent Review2mo ago18 Reviews - Check out schools near 1609 3rd St.

"Lots of bikers and pedestrians out and about at any given time on first Street. Kids should be careful when walking around and/or riding their own bikes. "

"30 minute commute to downtown via Atlantic blvd/Matthews bridge. Usual heavy traffic during rush hours. However, the commute is better than using I95, 295 or JTB"

"Incredible location. 100 yards to beach, library is just across 3rd street. Restaurants/nightlife just a 5 min walk down 1st Street. Publix about 1/2 mile and everything else within 1-3 miles. Can't get much better than this if you live at the beach, man. "

"This is a wonderful area to raise a family. Near very good schools. A short walk to ocean and a park. This is a quiet area where neighbors know each other. Near restaurants and shopping. You have to go out of the neighborhood for entertainment and night life."

"A hidden gem without any through traffic. I spoke to the owner and walked into the backyard. Great views of the marsh and intracoastal. Sure must be nice open space and no neighbors to the west."
