3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy grandson gets sent home for spitting mucus in the trash can but they claimed he was throwing up! So for every time he excretes mucus out, automatically they assume he throws up! I taught my grandson not to spit his mucus on his hands and that he could run to the bathroom if he can't find a tissue to spit his mucus , either to spit it out in my trash can the toilet or get a tissue. So I guess that's what he'd be doing at school, spitting his mucus out in the trash can. When I spoke to his principal over the phone, she said she wasn't there when it happened but according to her, she said that the nurse said that my grandson threw up. I was like, how did she know? Did she look or dig in the trash can to see the vomit? I know it sounds like a harsh question but as his grandmother who sees this boy every single day, I know that my grandson is not throwing up. He has a cold but not throwing up! The principal seemed irritated by my comment but seriously that was a legit question though. It may not be concerning to her that my grandson missed 4 days already as what she said, " Oh, your grandson only missed 4 days of school!" Only 4 days?!! Well 4 days of absences for me is seriously a big problem as I want my grandson to be at school to learn and to be around other children. Guess what? Every time I picked him up after the so called throwing up comment and every time I take him home, he is fine! Nothing wrong with him! Not even once, that he had spit any mucus nor threw up! So how do I expect my grandson to learn if he's always been sent home by their so called school nurse? I also thought that you have to have a high temperature before you'd be sent home. Well apparently, that's changed! You can't spit mucus out anymore without a proof of you throwing up!Parent Review3y ago2 Reviews - Springfield High School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI myself along with my daughter and son attended or attend grant. This school USED to be a great school. Unfortunately in the last 3 years hrant has went from good to very very bad. The teachers give up on their students. If you dont like teaching please quit. 1 math teacher per grade is ridiculous. My child needs help. They offer the after school class 2 days a week but end up canceling the class for lack of students signing up. My kid signs up but cant attend because they cancel the class. Now my kid has to attend summer school or they will make him repeat. Its awful environment. Lazy teachers in a lazy school in a failing school district.Parent Review1mo ago4 Reviews - Check out schools near 1608 E Brown St.

"Residents don’t pick up after their dogs so be careful walking outside, especially when it rains. I prefer taking my dogs to a dog park."
