Ground level entry, single floor building! Plenty of room for expansion! 11,180 sq ft, former Principe de Paz Lutheran Church located on 2.3 acre lot located at E 31st St and Vine Ave. Building is in excellent condition. The roof is fairly recent. All mechanical systems were in good working order when the church closed. The sanctuary is 3952 sq ft (41x74) and has a vaulted ceiling with beautiful beams and many different types of lighting. The pews still remain. There is also a choir loft at the rear of the sanctuary. There is a number of offices and classrooms that could be work areas for classrooms. There is also a 3280 sq ft (80x41) social hall with a stage and dressing rooms and a 360 sq ft (20x18) kitchen with a large institutional stove and oven. This would be a perfect facility for a social agency or another church. Parking is no problem as there is a huge paved parking lot capable of handling at least 100 cars! There is also a grass area of equal size beyond the parking lot.

We love to bring happiness to the people in our community and that is the best way we do it and the neighborhood loves it. We even have people that have been told and come from out of town to check it out."

    "If you want to live in a community where your neighbors are more like family, and your children will have an endless supply of friends to play with, then Deerfield is the place. We've lived here for 5 years and love it. Everyone is kind and inviting. The only downside is the gun range, which is not moving any time soon. But honestly, after 5 years, we hardly notice the noise. But the nature and people surrounding us make up for it."
