8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSo my son was an overflow student! He then transferred back to Vaughn so I get to compare a little bit as to why Vaughn is so sought after.Anyway! My son is in kindergarten and he’s autistic and they have done a FANTASTIC job with accommodating to him and he LOVES loves looooves his teacher. He’s only been here for 2 weeks and he’s already progressing academically faster than the previous school and having less/almost no accidents (he has incontinence).Buuuuuut I do have a couple of minor issues…my son no longer wants to go to school and he’s my “book worm”. He loooooves school and then I noticed sort of an attitude from a couple of staff members who he has to see daily and seemingly not wanting to help him unlike the other school who were hands on amazing with their kindness and patience.I understand it’s not fun, but as a 5 year old autistic sweet boy, I know he feels their lack of care and it hurts his feelings.Luckily it’s not like a huge or major issue quite yet and hopefully it’s something we can grow out of since he’s still fairly new to this school.Parent Review6mo ago - Lowery Freshman Center

"Lived here over 25 years , great schools, nice folks, nice parks, too many apartments and road construction constantly now . We don’t need so many shopping areas. Several of them have closed w so much competition . "
