The only redeeming things about this school are a handful of teachers. I was lucky that I did well at THS but a lot of my classmates were not. Principals and school board all push their own agenda and allocate almost all of the money from the state to boys sports. They have never won a state title and they rarely had a good season. Students do not have any input on any aspect of the school or the curriculum and are ignored or punished if they try. Teachers drink on the job and there have been cases of teachers sleeping with underage kids and teachers stealing money from the school and students. Tulia ISD is a complete failure and does more harm than good and this doesn’t bother them at all.

It's a nice rural Junior High School free from the extreme ideologies that plague places like Los Angeles, San Francisco ,Portland ,DC and so many areas in America now. The students that go there are nice the teachers are generally friendly and amicable, the only way you'd be rebuffed is if you're trying to push your viewpoints from other places down the throats of the people that live there. My four kids enjoyed going here and the food is great.
