My experience and my daughter’s experience at this school has been horrible. She has been severely bullied for two school years now and the only thing that has been done are conversations with the students who are doing the bullying. There has been no real consequences given. Because of this, the situation has spiraled out of control, to the point of her being physically attacked twice, and still, nothing is done to stop it. On top of this my daughter has a 504/IEP that they are refusing to honor and provide the proper services for. She has struggled with academics and the response from the teachers has been to yell at her and call her names, as opposed to having patience and support for her. She has been left to completely fall behind, feel overwhelmed and her self worth has diminished. It has gotten to the point where she has daily panic attacks at school. We have had to seek therapy and she has now been diagnosed with major depression with anxiety and ptsd due to what has been allowed to happen at this school. When her doctors/social workers contacted the school they were lied to about services my daughter receives and it was turned around to say they are not seeing enough effort put in by my daughter so it is her fault for struggling. My advice, stay far away from this school and this area in general. It’s disgraceful what is happening and then being swept under the rug.

I can’t say enough good things about this school! From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth and positive energy that makes it such a special place. The teachers are not only knowledgeable and dedicated, but they genuinely care about the success and well-being of each student. They go above and beyond to create an engaging and supportive learning environment that inspires curiosity and a love for learning.The administration is approachable and always willing to listen to feedback, making the school community feel like a true partnership between staff, students, and parents. The school offers a well-rounded curriculum that balances academic excellence with a variety of extracurricular activities, ensuring that every student can explore their interests and talents.

like any school LHS is what you make of it. If you drop your child off, unmotivated, and you expect the school to turn miracles, you are likely to be disappointed. Lots of opportunities for the motivated student and while sometimes the administration cares more about AP exams, and then switches to caring about the lower levels instead, you can have a great experience with excellent teachers if you and your student care to put in the effort.
