My son, who is now 21 attended Gibbs. My daughter who is now 20, attended Gibbs and now my youngest who’s 6 is currently attending Gibbs. With such a big gap in time one would think there would be changes but this school continues to soar in the positive ways that it has for years… from the early morning greetings from all the smiling faces of the staff and many times who’s in attendance??? Yes, if u guess it right! Mrs Bosnic! Such a lovely principle! I pray and hope everyone has had a great experience at Gibbs as my kids has. My 2 eldest went on to college and Bowie State now has an excellent basketball player ( full scholarship) and it all started from a basketball program that was held at Gibbs. My 6 year old( Skylar Smith) jumps in my car after picking her up at kiss and ride, telling me how much she loves her school and teaches!

"The Boyds area still has the quiet streets, friendly neighbors and open spaces one enjoys living in the country but it has all the conveniences of city living. The commute from Boyds to the D.C. beltway is about 25 minutes during rush hour traffic and with it's own MARC train station less than ten minutes from most neighborhoods, getting into Rockville and D.C. is a snap. HIGHLY recommend this area for anybody looking for suburban living with big city access."

"Having lived in this community for 10 years, I have found it very neighborly, quiet, and convenient. My daily commute to Bethesda is approximately 30 minutes each way. Shopping is nearby and recreation is VERY abundant. I highly recommend this area for young families as the schools are excellent and the available recreation is unparalleled in Montgomery County. All of the convenience of Germantown and Gaithersburg with the prestigious Boyds address. Two MARC train stops within three miles facilitate an easy Rockville, Kensington, or DC commute."
