"Very dog friendly! Hope for Paws has a lot of events. Most people in the neighborhood have dogs and walk them all around. There aren’t sidewalks though which makes it tricky to walk them down the roads. "

"The historic area is beautiful, especially at Christmas. There are some festivals and fun things to do. The roads are TERRIBLE and there is zero public transportation."

"My neighbors! They are great... the closeness to everything, downtown, work, stores and events. We enjoy the small town feel with the fun festivals and safe areas for kids to enjoy being outside."

"History, Culture, Arts, Charm--Natchitoches, Louisiana, is ideal for people of all walks of life. Located on the Banks of Cane River Lake (formerly Red River), the City offers eclectic boutiques, restaurants and pubs with cajun and seafood fare, as well as enjoyable promenades along the bricked Front Street. Natchitoches is an ideal place to work, worship, go to school, play, entertain, and be entertained. The home of Northwestern State University (NSU), Natchitoches residents enjoy a beautiful symphony orchestra, and many talented artists from the music, dance and drama departments who perform season theatre events. NSU Demon Athletics provide various sporting events throughout the school year and generously offer their stadium to local high schools to accommodate the huge following of supporters they draw. It's a place where everyone knows his neighbor and is willing to lend a helping hand when it is needed. If you are thinking of moving, you will be glad you considered Natchitoches."

"I've worked in this area on construction projects for over 6 years. The community is small, yet it has easy access to historic downtown Natchitoches. Located on the west end of Lake Sibley, the area retains it's rural atmosphere, while having amenities close by."
