4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagepart 1/2I love this school to death, and I'm upset I'm only here for 2 years.. Where to start... THE LUNCH IS AMAZING! I know for most students, lunch is their "favorite subject" so they will be impressed! So many more choices, and delicious food! The teachers are so supportive and caring. If you treat them with respect, then they will always be there for you! They know what they are doing and want the best for us and just want to share their passion. Why else would they become a teacher? There are counselors in the office that are always willing to talk to you! Middle school is hard for everyone, as it's an awkward stage of life, but that shouldn't be blamed on the school! Bullying does happen, of course, but if you bring it up to the right person, they will do what they can to help. It is a HUGE school, so they can't fix everything, but they try hard! This school does expect more, so of course it will be harder academically! They challenge you, and prepare you with harder work and responsibility! They will throw away a no name paper, because 1: they have too many students to worry about that one! and 2: be responsible! if you want the grade, show it! They build character if you actually try to learn what they are teaching you. Not just academics, but life skills!Student Review5y ago8 Reviews - Lake Havasu High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAttempting to transition my daughter to high school from junior high, after multiple attempt to call & email per school requests on registration paperwork sent home..........no response. I called and finally got through to the book store only to be greeted by the rudest most unprofessional woman I have ever spoken to. What a great representative for welcoming new parents and students. We'll be enrolling elsewhere my daughter deserves a better education and kinder more professional staff.Parent Review12y ago9 Reviews - Nautilus Elementary School

"My father owns a house here. People in the community are very friendly and caring. It’s very hot to walk and there’s no public transportation though. I see hard working people commuting to and from work on foot regardless."

"Easy walk and as long as they pick up after their dogs it’s a great neighborhood to walk them. Maybe the city could put up dog bags holders."

"Not many kids, and speed limit is 25 but I will see people driving 40 and speeding around blind spots. I have seen a motorcycle accident already and he was speeding around the blind spot and saw a car backing up slowly and he got scared and feel off. Broke his ribs and blood from his head. Not many people do the speed limit around here. "

"I work less than 10 mins from just about every where in Havasu I do not use public transportation as there is none. You can however go just about any place in Havasu one way for 5 dollars or less. There are a lot of private transportation companies around here to take you around if you don't drive. "
