Our grandchildren attend this school, positive experience, awesome caring staff.

This is an excellent school with caring staff and wonderful community involvement. The students have good attendance because most of them want to come to school! Teachers want to see the students to succeed. There are extracurricular activities offered and many sports and clubs after school.

The amount of kids with police records at this school will shock you because its such a nice neighborhood. My oldest went here for 7th & 8th grade, only to be offered drugs, tobacco and alcohol all while at school, during school hours, not at party's like you'd think. The peer pressure to have sex while in middle school is astronomical. After covid, schools wont hold kids back for failing grades and the kids know this, so they exploit it.If I knew a year ago what I know now, we would've moved our kids to another school.

Very disappointed with the school faculty in particular with school principals. This school doesn’t care about the well being of their students. If your student has learning disabilities, consider taking him/her elsewhere. Any behavioral problems your child may have due to their disability, whether it manifest in classroom or campus have serious consequences. They have no mercifulness or empathy towards them. Instead they add additional distress towards the student and parents. First, by suspending the student and secondly by the in-school campus officer who cites students for any school code being violated. Thus adding more stress and causing students to have problems with the legal system. It’s ridiculous. These are students who are at the very core of their development, going through physical, social and psychological changes. They are bound to make mistakes. It’s the process of learning and growing. Long are the days of facing your consequences with detention or picking up trash in school. Everything revolves around getting students suspended, recommending students for expulsion and having them face court systems. Which not only affects their academic records but future as civilians. Additionally, the tremendous traumatic experience this adds to students, potentially leading to mental health problems. Which, as I stated earlier school principals don’t care about. It seems all they care about is their own personal reputation and how well they look of paper. Shame on you!

My kid graduated from this school. This is not a stem focused school; way more time and effort are spent on the arts/social studies compared to Math and Science. There are too many social studies projects and no science projects at all (even for GATE students) and there is no lab. Also, the grading system does not really reflect students’ knowledge/performance at a given point of time. The grading starts at low from the beginning of the year and ends higher towards the end of the year. This pattern repeats every year. There are very limited to no extracurricular activities like Debate, Robotics, Math/Science Olympiad or equivalent.
