North Shelby takes away a lot of the Students Rights. It has great Academics and great Staff. but the Hand Book needs to be revised. I believe Phones should be allowed in class. Teachers can take them away if they feel the student is paying to much attention to them. Shaving should be removed and students should be free to not shave. People with F's Should be unable to participate in any sport they play but may still be able to attend games and other activities. We are a family and we are expected to back each other up. Cant show school pride if we aren't allowed to go to games. We r taught that winning isn't everything. But if we don't win in the classroom then we get into a lot more trouble the necessary.

I attended North Shelby, it has always been amazing to me. The elementary is where children grow most and at North Shelby they work hard to help educate the children, about everything from math to caring and understanding one another. This school is like a family unit. I would love to see this school get help to continue doing the amazing things it does.
