San Felipe park and Sulphur Creek nature center are nearby. This is a plus. Downtown is about a mile away. About three miles away are hiking trails which we use about once a week. There are a lot of walkers, joggers and bicyclist using D St. As far as community there is a network of neighbors that keep an eye on their block and report questionable activity. We've lived here twenty years and have no plans of moving."
