6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePersonally with my 2 years at Corbett it’s not as bad as people make it. Yes there are some bad aspects but the teachers can be so nice if you do your work and not be disrespectful coaches are amazing especially coach Henry and Davis also coach B and Busch. Students can be very rude for no reason but it’s fine. I advise your kids do athletics and play sports have fun and don’t be stupidStudent Review1mo ago7 Reviews - Samuel Clemens High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe're not happy here at all. I'm tired of telling my son that he has to go to school over his tears. This is not a school for bright young boys. There is no control over violent students. This stuff is Highschool type drama, not 5th and 6th grade. I'm extremely unhappy that I have no way to keep my kid safe on the bus or at school and the teachers seem completely ineffective with keeping their classes under control. I hate this school and so does my child.Parent Review7y ago3 Reviews - Norma J Paschal Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is fantastic. We’ve had a wonderful experience here for my kids for preschool, kinder, and first grade. I don’t know why it doesn’t have a 10/10 rating because it is a meticulously organized and thoughtfully run school full of passionate and kind educators. We’ve had Armstrong, France, Hamilton, and England, and they have taken such good care of my kids and taught them so much and you can tell these women love what they do and all their students. The principal and staff are super motivated and keep parents updated regularly. On the sixth day of school the principal was greeting every student by their first name. I wouldn’t have believed it but when I dropped my kids off I watched her stand there and greet each student and she does that every morning, it’s incredible how loved my children feel. We even did distance learning last year for the pandemic and it was well organized given the circumstances and the teachers were so understanding and flexible, which we really needed. The teaching staff uses an app this year and last year called dojo to communicate with parents, it makes it so easy to stay in touch and message the teachers with questions and concerns and often the teacher sends out pictures of the kids doing activities throughout the day which really reassures me that they are in good hands. My only concerns are really more regarding the school district as a whole, I wish the kids were given more time outside as they only get two 15 minute recesses which is pretty standard nation wide but I would love to see more of a nature focus in the curriculum. Otherwise you can’t do better than this school!Parent Review4y ago18 Reviews - Check out schools near 15516 Fox Ln.

"There are nice walking trails to be used in Selma, and neighboring Schertz. it can still feel like you live in San Antonio since you are so close, but it does also have its own feel. Most residents our friendly, active, and family-oriented. It's very common to see parents and children walking, or playing in the streets and neighborhoods. Lovely community similar to Schertz and Cibolo. "

"Our neighborhood feels very safe and is full of families with small people. Everyone pretty much keeps to themselves and yet still keeps a neighborly attitude. Very close to all the highways for anyone commuting to San Marcos or San Antonio. "
