Before I posted this listing, I looked for other homes for rent in Rowan county at around this price point. What I found were homes that are 1,200-1,500sqft that are described as "spacious THIS is what spacious looks like - 1972sqft plus a 250sqft screen porch and a large double garage. This home is available for leases of 15+ months. I would be happy to discuss a longer lease term, but this home is NOT for sale, under any circumstances. Therefore if you want a long term rental home you can be assured that if you pay your rent, and abide by the terms of the lease, I will be happy to rent to you for as long as you would like to live here. This is a large ranch home in quiet cul-de-sac location, hidden from the road by mature woodland. The location is conveniently located for commuting anywhere from Charlotte (1 hr) to Winston Salem (45 minutes). Also Charlotte-University (40 minutes), Mooresville (25 minutes), Kannapolis/ Biotech Research Center (20 minutes), Food Lion HQ (10 minutes), Salisbury VA Hospital (10 minutes), and Salisbury Hospital (15 minutes). The living area, hallway and one bedroom have beautiful cherry-stained hardwood flooring that is in excellent condition. The living area spans the width of the home with windows to the front and rear, including large windows overlooking the back yard and skylights in a "sun room" area. The large master suite is carpeted and benefits from a huge closet. The other bedrooms (one carpeted, one HWF) also have large closets. The kitchen is large, with 22ft of granite counters, a large amount of storage space, under-cabinet lights, and an eat-in area overlooking the back yard. Fridge, dishwasher, and stove are included, and there are hookups for laundry appliances. Dep To the rear of the home is a private grassed yard, surrounded by trees. Mowing of the lawn, plus leaf clearance, and general yard maintenance is included in the rent. Phone inquiries and showings are PREFERRED on Fridays, weekends, and holidays. Tenant pays power & gas utilities. Garbage $18/ mth. Water is from a well on the property and is of excellent quality. Rent to own is NOT available.
