4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved here from Southern Cal and my twins started 4th grade in the middle of the year. I have to admit their whole academic changed coming here. The teachers were fantastic and they were always communicating with us parents. the school was half the size of their old one so it felt like they got great attention. I think this is the best choice for us and the surrounding neighborhood is fabulous.Parent Review11y ago3 Reviews - Clarke N Johnsen Jr High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a student at Clarke Johnson, I am very happy with the way this school is. It is very easy to make new friends, and it is a very nice and positive environment. Everyone who attends this school is very nice to one another. The classrooms are great as well. The teachers make sure to include students in class discussions and try their best to help all the students grow to become smart and advanced learners. The faculty not only are very good at what they do, but they also make sure all the students have fun and feel safe at school. They are constantly working hard to resolve any problems that may be happening. They also take very good care of all their students and want the best for them.Student Review1y ago5 Reviews - Check out schools near 155 E 2000 N.

"It’s not a very pedestrian friendly area so walking your dog can be difficult or if people’s dogs get out. "

"alot of small town prejudices. Especially amongst school age kids. I would hesitate raising a child here. This part is old tooele. The shops are fun and theres a great second store. "

"Always traffic leaving in the morning and when coming back in the evening. The back way in through Cedar Fort is the way to go if you can."

"Lots of dogs live here. Very dog friendly. Unfortunately some dog parents leave their fur babies outside day and night allowing them to bark incessantly. "

"I am not aware or sure I am always at work but I like that some neighbors are nosy so they let you know when people are at you place "

"Not the best schools. Most schools are filled with a since of community. Great football coaches. The commute is absolutely horrible! Too many people moving from the Salt Lake area so it's becoming Vastly over grown. This town and County as a whole use to have a great small town fill, That is NO longer. water is an issue. "

"We have movies in the park, art festivals, and many organized events that are family friendly. I do enjoy living here but a lot of people are very unfriendly around town. It isn’t the quite little town it once was. "

"The neighborhood is so friendly that people will help each other out whenever it is needed. We have had fund raisers and huge block parties that are well attended. We know a lot of our neighbors by their first name."

"Live 2 houses to the south of this property and love the neighborhood. This house is a steal for anyone, there are children on either side and there are a couple of retirees across the street. The street is a mixture of ages and everyone gets along. No crime to speak of and less than a mile to any school, elementary, junior high, and high school. The local recreation center is also less than a mile. We also have a satellite campus for USU just over a mile away."
