This school is terrible, they served moldy food to my child, the nurse told my daughter she was faking being sick when she is severely ill, my daughter got bullied and nobody batted an eyelash

Our child has attended New Wilmington Elementary for the past 3 years and we have really enjoyed his time here. The teachers are caring, the school is clean and inviting, and our child has thrived. His teachers have been easy to communicate with and we really enjoy the regular postings to EdLine (online grade book that parents can view their child's progress). There's a new principal this year, so I can't comment on his leadership, but things are going smoothly this year. When we were looking at the area, we were told that this was a school district we wanted to be in. Families are invited to be as involved as they can be, and there are several opportunities for family activities throughout the year (open house, math night, art show, field and track day, etc.). The PTO holds fundraisers a couple of times a year through various means to raise money for field trips, school outings (usually a trip to Westminster College for the annual children's show through their Celebrity Series) and in school programs (whole school science program, holiday movie and snack, etc.). Communication between the school/district and families is efficient and effective. Great school!
