My child has gone to this school for three years, So far every year there has been issues. Now of course I understand that issues will happen however nothing changes it just seems to get worse as the time goes on. my child's reading skills are no where close to where they need to be, math which was truly a favorite has turned into a subject of dread. A positive is the music department my child loves the teacher and the class, also the school has AC and is very clean (it is the newest school in the district). Some of the staff is wonderful, others are just plain awful, there is no gray/in between when it comes to this place. The Nurse is amazing, and the front desk ladies, but that is were it stops when it comes to the front office staff that includes the principle. Most of the teachers look like they should work for the DMV they are so "thrilled" to be there. again as I said there are some wonderful people in that building but not enough to make it a place that makes my child feel heard, seen, respected, or safe. It saddens me to say I know what I have to do as a parent and that is to find a different school for my child, to show that beautiful child that learning and people can be fun, caring and exciting! I went to this school as a child, back when it did not have walls, My third grade teacher was the woman who changed my life and showed me that school and learning did not just have to be one way, she helped shape me into who I am today. I thought this school would do the same for my child, it has done the complete opposite.

not a safe environment for any kid lots of drugs in that school and needs to be shutdown

I am a student here. I struggle with special needs and mental issues and they do not respect needs most teachers hate there job and do not respect the kids. There are some teachers that are amazing an love there job that deserve better. This school does nothing about bullying or tormentation if your thinking about putting your child in here volinterily DON'T YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! Im leaving with more mental issues and trauma than I went in with and than education I didn't learn anything new! Other than how fake people are and how you can't trust adults.
