This has been a great house to raise our 2 kids. It is close to schools and has a big park right across the street. It is located in the best neighborhood with an oversized lot that is easy to maintain. The 2 car garage is finished and has lots of built in cupboards and is big enough to hold 2 full size cars. Access to the house and backyard from the garage.
The main floor has the living room and an open kitchen dining room arrangement that makes cooking fun when entertaining. The living room has a large picture window and looks north. The master bedroom is up stairs with its own door to the bathroom. The two other bdrms. upstairs, are approx. equal, and are both good sized for kids. The Garden level or downstairs has a very nice large bedroom and a 3/4 bath, laundry room. Also downstairs is great wood fired stove in the family room/ study. Having just put in a new furnace in February 2017 the wood stove kept the entire house warm and safe for the week it took to fix the furnace, a very nice thing to have as well as cozy and romantic!
The backyard is wonderful with shade trees all around. There is a concrete patio and room to BBQ. A 12x14 storage shed w/ loft is a secure place for all the home care things and the loft has a pull down ladder for easy storage that is dry and secure. All buildings have recent new roofs that are in good shape.
A 27x38 B&C Steel building the best that money can buy. It is a dream shop that can be used for so many different things. With great access off the alley a 14' tall electric door opener and 16' height this building is a gem. The electric heat and AC work great and are efficient because of the insulation. The building has 220v 100amp electric service. An under ground line from the shed can provide a compressed air station with the compressor away in the shed so the shop remains quiet. There are 8 full spectrum light fixtures and outlets abound. Bright and tall and full of potential I built this shop as something that can function for so many things. An entire second floor could be added to double the floor space for what I hoped to be a art studio ....someday?
The yard is low maintenance with a stand alone water well and pump set on 5 sections of a timer. The grass is very hardy and only requires fertilizer twice a year and mowed once a week.
