Excellent principal & some fine teachers, but I think it could use improvement in areas like: curriculum (seems weak, muddled); overemphasis on standardized tests; lack of PTA/parent "voice"; and counterproductive disciplinary approach (punishing an entire class based on actions of a few students helps nothing). Other options include nearby schools, private schools, online public schools & home school.

"Lots of space to run have fun, get dirty and be a dog. On my land Cooper stays on his property, we just pay the bills. "

"We don't have children at home but Franklin has excellent schools and lots of outside activities for children. Hunting and Fishing are both popular sports for young and old alike. Pop is under 1200 only has one grocery, 1 drug. You have to drive to Bryan to do any serious shopping"
