The school has lots of programs above and beyond straight academics; my children have benefitted from speech therapy and emotional support programs. The gifted support program is good. The music program is excellent, with all kids learning recorder in 3rd grade and band/orchestra available in 4th grade. The curriculum is very biased and in conflict with my family's beliefs and they refused to give him a exemption for some of the lessons which are in conflict with our beliefs. We also were traveling overseas and they refused to mark him as excused even though we specifically structured our trip to make it educational for him in alignment with their policies. I have no idea how they got any awards. The staff is absolutely horrible, they also bullied him. The communications with the staff is either hit or miss.
