About this House

This wonderful ranch home is nestled in a convenient location on the SE side of CR and in a gated community that provides snow removal and lawn care for ease of home ownership. There is a two-car attached garage with driveway access off Guildford and a 24 x 24 detached garage that has driveway access off Kyrie which is on the back side of the property The current owners have transformed this home into an amazing space! Every room has been renovated in some manner. They have owned the home for almost 13 years and are only the second owners. Updates include: • Electrical - new fixtures, canned lights, updated outlets, surround sound, and breaker box. • All popcorn ceilings (except closets) were removed and replaced with knock down finish. Remodeled area ceilings were redone again in 2019. • Newer high efficiency HVAC systems in 2010 and 2021- (there are two HVAC systems) • Newer high efficiency water heaters in 2010 and 2018-(there are two) • All exterior doors have been replaced. • Garage door openers have been replaced in both garages. • Entire exterior of home and garages were professionally painted this year. • Roof replaced with hurricane rated shingles in 2020. • Gutters and soffits replaced in 2013 • Main floor fireplace was converted from wood burning to a gas log. • All flooring has been replaced to include the addition of hardwood in 2019 remodel. • The screened porch was converted into a 3-season space with addition of floor to ceiling windows, doors, flooring, lighting, surround sound, and ceiling fans. A Mitsubishi mini split system was installed for additional heating and cooling • An egress window was added in the LL for a bedroom. Work completed in 2017. • Many trees have been removed and new landscaping has been added. • Cedar fencing and gates around the property was replaced in 2020 • The pool has been well maintained and updated. The entire decking area around the pool was torn out and replaced in 2014. At this time any deficient piping was repaired and a new heater and components were installed. A new pool liner, and lighting was installed in 2015. The pool was also converted to a saltwater system in 2015. A walkway leads to the limestone front stoop and replaced the front door. The gracious entry opens to a great room and kitchen that overlooks a stunning 3-season room boasting walls of glass that overlook a beautiful pool and wonderfully fenced in backyard with fabulous plantings. Some of the features and changes to note: the main living area was professionally remodeled by Sweeney Construction. This new space features cabinets by Cabinets Galore (real wood interiors) with dovetail joints and soft close hardware, solid surface counters, ample task lighting, under cabinet lighting, and a steel gray Kitchen Aide appliance package. The oversized island has storage on the task side and additional storage on the ‘fun’ side. The functional design of the kitchen remodel was extended into the dining room with the same cabinetry and glass fronts, solid surface counters, bar sink, and beverage refrigerator. Just past the kitchen is the oversized laundry area which also serves as easy access for a bathroom and changing area for pool goers. Do not worry-there is plenty of space left over for laundry duty! Did I mention that this home ‘lives’ large and is great for entertaining and for family and friends to gather? The pool is a wonderful addition to the lifestyle of this home. The heater and other components for the pool are tucked in the garage and the decking around the pool allows for ample entertainment space and fun. The backyard is fenced in for additional privacy and protection. There is a full bath and bedroom in the lower level. The rest of the lower level is a blank canvas with so much to offer. There is clear span trussing to eliminate supports in this fabulous space with an additional floor to ceiling brick wood burning fireplace to anchor the area.     "I do not have any personnel knowledge of public transportation as I don’t utilize it but I do know there is a bus stop about a block from our residence. With the change in seasons and time change this weekend, people will be coming out as weather permits. There will a reunion of sorts since we’ve finally ventured out. In the Spring there will be garage sales, summer will have festivities all over the neighborhood & surrounding towns. Fall will welcome kids back to school & winter will have Christmas decorations & lights in the neighborhood "
