I loved every moment of being at Auburn High for my sophomore, junior, and senior year.

it is a very awesome school from a student it is so helpful

Currently have a 7 year old who attends with a big imagination and her words are sometimes lost in translation. She’s a great student and does well and never gets into trouble just well mannered as in general. Unfortunately her teacher over heard a talk between two students were my child simply said she didn’t like it at times when I rough house and tickle her. The teacher automatically went in an off course method in getting clarity by contacting DHR to investigate Dad and Mom. DHR spoke lady said with her conversation with our child and it seemed just a big misunderstanding and that she was closing out the case no worries. My point here is the teacher responsible for this situation should be perhaps better trained. Had another female teacher there after asking if a teacher was there I could speak with and simply stated calling DHR was uncalled for. Immediately she went and told the resource officer that I was aggressive and agitated with her leaving her nervous. WOW! If you a teacher can’t articulate a conversation well enough to understand it was just a conversation, between two consenting adults were no hostility was ever shown but the teacher chose words to manipulate a situation creating her own narrative. parents don’t want to be seen and gossip about and unfortunately this school seems to cater to this behavior.

The school is great at teaching all subjects

We will be glad when our tenure at WMR is finally over. The only good thing about how ACS is structured is that the longest any student has to be at a school is three years. With two kids, that will be 6 years too many at WMR.
