"Nice neighborhood, diverse population of friendly people. Lots of great restaurants and places to visit."
  • Agalego
"There are many dogs in the neighborhood and dog owners respect one another. People here are very respectful to each other. They look out for each other and their properties. "

  • Whitneywashingtonbusiness
"There is always something in the way and busted up cars. Plan ahead and you’ll be ok and prefer a driveway if you plan to live here. otherwise make sure you’re parked close to sidewalk on busy streets with mirrors closed in. "
  • Gredy Asprilla
"Not much to do in New Bedford, especially for children everything fun for kids is gone , we need more fun stuff bring back skating ranks things for children to enjoy and have fun "
  • Lisa O.
"This neighborhood offers a blend of historical charm and coastal living. The stunning historical homes, coupled with the soft ocean breeze carrying the scent of the sea, create a tranquil atmosphere. However, the nearby intersection, located on a blind curve without a 4-way stop, has experienced several accidents. Additionally, a German Shepherd frequently barks for hours, which could be a concern for those sensitive to noise."
  • Sabrina D.
"I was visiting with my mother to view a rental and got out of my car to take photos. When we got back in our car, we first saw an argument between a man and a woman who was irate in front of us, then the man approached our car to ask if we had been filming her. This is not a safe area and I would not live here. "
  • Rmmsail
"I lived near a church and they held annual summer outdoor fundraising events to support and provide community programs to anyone in the neighborhood "
  • Rose_joyp

"Easy commute. This Neighborhood is right off of route 6 in New Bedford and 140. Lots of traffic especially when school is in session but right off of the highway. "
  • Asorliz A.
"There are stores and buildings that all show some form of whaler pride representing the pride in being the top fishing industry."

"Neighborhood have acces to the transportation great to live in here :,?everything its close and great to live around here :)"
  • Awbreymackenzie
"Nelson street in New Bedford there’s a bus stop right there but this neighborhood isn’t good I am looking to move I feel unsafe here"
  • Cece199989
"I use uber buses are not safe around here especially at night. I go from work straight home you can barely go to the park in this city anymore and feel safe. commuting is easy enough given all the transit's but safe well that's another thing."
  • Wasilowski.jamie
"Dog owners are welcomed, as a majority of the community own or love the neighborhood dogs. I am one of many owners of a pup. "
  • Tyran C.
"The hospitals and schools are not up to par. The staff are rude. Non knowledgeable and don’t care they just want their check "
  • Liliana D.
"I think people would have respect seeing any Person walking their dog but some people don’t like when owners don’t clean up after their pets. And there’s a lot of people who are really nosy and sometimes it can be really disturbing and the fact that you can’t even trust the neighborhood, like letting your kids play outside it’s not how it used to be !"
  • Destineymaried
"there are a lot of families in the area and some great parks and some great schools for your children"
  • Harleyrdocanto961
"Every place has good and bad areas, New Bedford has many historical places to visit as a family, and many parks and playgrounds for kids as well as for schooling. I believe you just have to be in a better part of the neighborhood. There’s only a few areas that aren’t the greatest."
  • Kaylactorres
"Most backyards are too small, no dog only dog parks that im aware of, unsafe area to walk a dog alone especially at night"
  • David R.
"In order to walk safely in this area since there are no sidewalks you’ll need to walk along the front of your neighbors yards. They would rather you walk in the street and risk getting killed unless of course you’re a member of their family. Other then that you can trespass on many of the open lots that are filled with ticks. I found five in three weeks on my dog from just one visit to one of these empty lots"
  • Angelja38
"There are many dogs in the neighborhood, & there has never been an issue as far as I know, everyone is very friendly."
  • Addrodrigues99
"I don’t see people walking their dogs often but if I do, the dog poops everywhere and the owner does not clean up "
  • Paul J.
"All animals are welcome guests in my neighborhood. Almost every household has a pet. There are a lot of streets to walk down including the beach and local parks to take your pet"
