i attended sunset all four years, i was a shy and quiet student and wouldnt really interact with other students. almost all of my teachers i had noticed that and would offer help to me whenever they could. whether it be if i wanted to come in during free period for extra help, needed extra time for a deadline or just tell me they would give me extra support/help.of course i had a few bad teachers, but overall all the teachers i did like were the best teachers ive had, they would almost always go above and beyond for their students. they motivated me to keep going even when i would really struggle. they wouldnt make me feel bad for doing bad on something. i made the best friends i could have during the last few years of hs. there are a lot of nice people at sunset, i never felt like i was bullied or targeted in any wayi loved eating the school lunch, the lunch ladies were all kindmost of the work i was assigned was easy to understand, i personally wasnt assigned a ton of homework so i feel like it was easier focusing on my main assignments. overall i loved this school, had a really good experience . id recommend this school definitely

I went to check the lost and found and some teacher was being rude, screaming and said "get out of here". one day I went to get a Chromebook from the Library and some teacher was lying about and second rudeness. Lastly, few days ago I was just checking time on my phone and a teacher screamed at me and was being mean and no one even paid attention to other people using phones every day.

I'm pretty disappointed with this school as I went here as a child. I've had 3 issues and it's only November. 1. I parked in LEGAL parking spot and was told by staff to move my car. I asked them to give me a valid reason or have a principal come talk with me but that didn't happen. A neighbor came to my car and almost broke my windshield telling me to move my car. Making me and my 2yr old daughter feel unsafe. I was pretty disappointed with how the principal and school handled this situation. 2. My daughter was being picked on by a girl in her classroom and the principal stuck up for the bully! I let the situation sit for a little bit before I brought it up to the principal but no actions were taken and nothing improved so as a mother, I need to protect my child and let them know my concerns that my child may do something to defend herself and that she has every right to defend herself. 3. I brought my child to the front office asking them to assist her to her classroom and the staff at the front dismissed what I said and told me "she can go by herself". They continued to ARGUE and bicker with me in front of other parents and students making the school look bad and showing they don't care about a students safety and comfortability. We weren't going to enroll her in school and homeschool her for many reasons (some these being them). So to have this experience is disappointing, frustrating and giving me every reason to unenroll her in school.
