this school does not do anything about bullying as a student in his school i her so many things said to other students even around the teachers not to mention about the racist slurs around the school but nothing is done yet the teacher punish us for bad grades but they do not teach they sit there or write on the board make us copy this is not right and students shouldn't have to pay because a teacher can't do there job.

Alamosa High School is a great school. I transferred from a small rural school due to the fact that I did not have any challenging opportunities. Alamosa has met my needs and is dedicated to continue meeting them. The staff and teachers are so dedicated to providing the best they possibly can for each child. Sometimes there are small contraversies between the students and staff, but in the end it always benifits the stundents in a positive way (whether they get their way or not). Alamosa exceles in not only its eductaion but also in many great clubs students can get involved in; football, soccer, gymnastics, golf, basketball, baseball, track and feild, cross country, forensics, mesa club, key club, knowledge bowl, journalism, and a very popular rowdy crowd. To be honest, I wouldn't want to spend four of my most valuable years of my life anywhere else.

There are a few wonderful teachers there who work very hard and truly care about kids. A few. After 2.75 years there, we decided to homeschool and have never looked back. This school is a classic example of money not being able to solve problems. It has one of the highest per-pupil spending in the state and is one of the worst-performing schools. It's also a great example of why neighborhood schools are a better model than giant, centralized 1000-pupil campuses, no matter how nice and fancy they look on the outside.
