"Part of a large area of Sachem. No real town, library miles away. Plenty for kids to do and everything within a 19 mile radius, beaches sound & sea, mall, hospitals, LIRR easy commute to NYC. "
    • Chris H.
"There are numerous activities for kids to join in the sachem area and schools. Although they can get lost in the shuffle, they will always find a group to belong to. Many kids!"
    • Rayscavo
"Driving is a must! If you don’t have a car you’ll be using Uber or lyft all the time !! The roads are clean well maintained and not usually too much traffic "

"The Holtsville Zoo makes our town unique. We are lacking a town, we are surrounded by major roadways. We are close to everything, but we have no charm."
    • Disgruntlpostal
"You see people walking their dogs all the time around here. There is plenty of run and a nice view. It is quiet and peaceful."

"Always safe to play with children on nice summer days . Never to crowded or any major traffic . Always pleasant neighbors. I would say in my opinion a very low crime rate ."
    • Xoalinaaa
"Friendly and a no e place to raise children. Good school districts. A place that I would see myself living in the future. And where I would want my kids to buy a house "
    • Levent G.
"I've lived this neighborhood over 13 years. It's nice place. There is only 1 problem we don't have FIOS in town of Brookhaven. There is no competition. Only Cablevision here and they over charge to us. This is shame on Town Of Brookhaven "
    • Levent G.
"Such a nice place. Best school area. No one bother you. Have nice park. But only Cablevision here no other cable company. I hate that. there is no competition for the cable and they charge so high price that is the bad things about the town of Brookhaven. "
    • Brute7
"Very quiet neighborhood , great neighbors- If you need to take the train to work about 5 miles to the Ronkonkoma train station. Landscaped beautifully low maintenance. completely fenced in yard with pcv fencing. nicoloc paver walk ways and two patios on each side of the house. a shed that matches the house. There are restaurants and a movie theater about 10 minutes away. Red Lobster, Smokey Bones, On the Border, and an Italian restaurant. and a few more. The Holstville park is 10 minutes away. There is also a dry cleaners, the US Post Office and few oher stores. 15 minutes to Islip MacArthur airport. "
