“HIGH ROCK COTTAGE” – Long before these summer cottages had street numbers, every house had a name. Even mail was addressed “High Rock Cottage”, Cliff Road, Gloucester, MA. Perched on top of granite outcroppings on one of the highest points on Brier Neck, this is “OH…THAT HOUSE!” (The one you’ve seen in the distance and thought to yourself “Someday)!” Panoramic views, salt air and iconic twin lighthouses welcome you. Offered with the ADJACENT BUILDABLE LOT for the first time in five decades, this 1920s cottage retains its charm and is now a year-round home. Between Good Harbor Beach and Long Beach, the location is spectacular. More than anything “High Rock Cottage” has been, and will continue to be, the magical setting of our most precious memories…gatherings, returning from the beach sun kissed and salty, good friends, lobster bakes and in the quiet of the night, being lulled to sleep by the sounds of the surf. This is your opportunity to make that “someday” NOW…

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe students run the school. There is no discipline, no follow through or consequences. Teachers are not supported and are constantly dis-empowered. They are reprimanded for having high expectations and challenging students, especially in specialists classes and have been told to dumb down lessons. Just last year students were lighting fire in the hallways and carrying weapons to school. The school has dropped to a level 3, on its way to level 4 I'm sure. The "STEAM" element is a joke and just there to get funding. In practice, there is no collaboration between teachers, only "practices" put in place "just in case" evidence is asked for by the state for STEAM practices. If a student is at risk, they will do anything they can to ignore and or push that child's problems under the rug. One guidance counselor is completely useless, the other two try but their hands are tied because the administration would rather ignore student issues. The administration is a complete joke.Other Review8y ago - Check out schools near 15 Cliff Rd.
