5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child went to a ICE walkout, where the teachers decided to give them a suspension for "disruption of others learning" when they weren't even on campus! In an email, the school stated that they are NOT responsible for our children's actions and wellbeing outside of school, but then proceeded to follow our children out in cars, even getting out and glaring at them. Also in the email the principal, Rebecca Porter, stated, "We hope your students make good choices today." Which HEAVILY implies that any CHILD who had the guts to protest made a bad choice. This school says they value and respect their students, but they dont.Parent Review3mo ago23 Reviews - Mariner High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter attended Discovery School from kindergarten through 5th grade. I consider it a true blessing that she had the opportunity to be part of this school community. The teaching staff and administrators at Discovery excel in various aspects, including education, special education, family engagement, and student safety. Throughout her time at the school, my daughter never encountered condescension or any negative judgment regarding her learning abilities. The school consistently places all children as their top priority and provides the essential social and emotional support required in today's society.Parent Review2y ago11 Reviews - Check out schools near 15 3rd Dr SE #34.

"nice trail to walk your dogs behind some neighborhoods b towards town center. At the start is McCollum Park."

"There is a mix of apartments and houses. I’ve lived here for over a year and it’s a beautiful area but the houses are very close together and the apartments are pretty crammed. The area is a bit expensive and there is more construction happening each week. It feels very city-like and it’s becoming a bit excessive. Fourth of July is horrendous with the fireworks even though there are hundreds of thousands of trees around. Just too many people."

"Very respectable neighborhood. Don’t expect to on first named terms with many neighbors, or a friendly chat at the local store or even a ‘hi there’ on an evening walk from the couple across the road. It’s clean and tidy apart from rabbits and their droppings and very quiet. "

"Lots of families, great parks etc. Many people move here to benefit from the supportive family environment. It’s important that families coming into the area continue this sense of community for generations to come. "

"I work north of my home so I have a reverse commute—and it’s great. Less than 20 minutes to get there along backroads and through farmland with great scenery. "

"No special events as a community. We have held common garage sales; kids in the neighborhood host lemonade stands periodically; we walk our dogs a lot. Neighbors chat with each other when out on walks in the neighborhood. "

"I recently moved to Mill Creek with my new wife and we couldn't be more pleased. If you are younger or older there is always activities to be had. From golf to walking the town center. There are many groceries and 5 star restaurants close by. For you that have children it is extremely safe with an outstanding school district. "
