We attended college, moved away and came back specifically to raise our children in this town and district. Our kids enjoyed school, played sports, graduated & went into college. Yes, there are teachers/ issues that are not perfect, as with EVERY district. But, Southmoreland is small, safe, welcoming and ranked highly for academics compared to other local schools. Parental involvement, student attitude and community support are key. It's all here, if you had a bad experience, chances are, you didn't really try all that hard.Parent Review2y ago - Southmoreland El School
