Goodson, is Okay. I think they teach the start and that's it. They don't really require the kids to read or write. There's no homework so your kiddo likely feel challenged. Absolutely no field trips or science fair or any educational, peer-building activities. The school is not diverse at all. The students don't really have opportunities to mingle or get to know eachother. There hasn't been an eight grade mixer, dance or any activity to make their time there, memorable. The best features of this school are the electives they offer.

Farney elementary has been an exciting and fun place to work and be. I have had the pleasure of working here as well as have my daughter be a 1st grader at Farney. Her first grade teacher was phenomenal, attentive, sweet, loving, kind, and knowledgeable. My daughter work up every morning, excited to go to school and did not want miss any days, sick or not. As an employee of Farney, I have experienced love and compassion for the staff, students, and parents. I enjoy working here as well as have developed deep family relationships with lots of staff members. Farney really is a family.

My son is doing very well academically, socially, and emotionally.
