My daughter BEGGED to take me out of this school. My daughter has ADHD and Autism. The teachers did not accommodate ANYTHING for her disabilities. She got constantly bullied and when she told the teachers on what they were doing they didn't do a thing for her. Kids would bullied her about her weight and her disabilities, and when she stood up for herself the principle decided to suspend HER and not the bully. I am EXTERMELY disappointed in this environment of a school. I do NOT recommend this school to ANYONE.

Milan High School provides MANY opportunities for a small/medium size school; AP classes, vocational, early college alliance, intro to engineering, CAD, music, art, drama, foreign languages, athletics, etc. Teachers and counselors help prepare kids for future (kids may have to ask for specific assistance since minds can't be read). Class sizes are small and teachers will assist after class. Communication from school district is often and in many forms. Safety is taken very seriously. The school does not outsource transportation, meals, etc. Great supportive community as well. Many young families, groups, businesses that want to see our kids, the school, and the city thrive and grow. You will always have some negative nay-sayers in any community, but our experience has been very positive.

All three of my children went through Paddock Elementary. Everyone is very approachable and dedicated to the success and well being of all the students. There are many opportunities to be involved in the classroom and school activities. I absolutely loved the principal Sean DeSarbo (Mr. D)

Referring to the experience of fifth grad teacher. If your a favorite of this teacher your perfectly fine in this class room, if not you get embarrassed and belittled in front of the class. Your grades get marked low even if you do well, but the favorite gets higher grades even if not deserved. Your told that if you don’t pass a test 100% you don’t get to go to the next grade level. If you don’t believe the same as the teacher your stupid. If you raise your hand and your not a favorite you get told to be quiet. If you need something, your told to be quiet. Your told you may talk but when you do you get into trouble. If someone blames you for something your automatically accused in front of the class even if innocent. If your hurt or sick, your fine go sit down. So on. Not happy with this school year at all. Teachers do better!!!
