I am very appalled. Choctaw elementary are calling parents on the 2nd day of school for my child i got a late enrollment. The principle said she lacked all the skills for 2nd grade. This is day 2. I told the principle my daughter could read and right. She said she highly doubts that. She than proceed to throw willow brook in my face and told me as a mom it was my fault my kid was sick all the time. Excuse my language. But no its not. Willow brooke even told us it was a sickly school and we shoulds not worry about it. When your around 300 kids in an elementary your going to get sick. It was her first year in a public school. I was talked to like my daughter was dumber than a door nail. On her 2nd day.She has had no time to shine. They called thursday morning, so 1 day technicallyI want the very best for my daughter and want her to have all the education she can get. She did k12 last year and passed. She has the first few day jitters.

this is the best school i have been two since i moved here

This school has a very big gap in teaching skills some are amazing and some are horrible. The school doesn't really worry about safety. And we have very low quality background checks on substitutes. The checks are so bad that earlier this year we had a substitute that was especially harsh to people of color.
