Description

Two units for rent! (The total rent price is for both units. If you are interested in just the main house please contact me for separate pricing.) The main house is 1632 sq feet with 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. The second unit is a 309 sq ft ADU/guesthouse which is a studio with a kitchen and bathroom, it's detached from (but next to) the main house. The studio is currently used as an Airbnb rental and you can rent it and continue to use it for this purpose or for the extra family member who want their own space.

This home was the original farmhouse in the area back in 1901 and at that time it was a 15 acre apple orchard before the city of Silverton was developed. It currently sits on 3/4 of an acre and is less than a mile from the quaint, historic, downtown Silverton area. The large front yard is a park-like setting with large trees that block the road. The main house has many updates, newer kitchen with high ceilings, farmhouse sink, beautiful quartz countertops, newer flooring. Large 19x45 ft heated shop with a hoist for pulling an engine, plus 30x20 carport for RV storage with sewer line access, and a garden shed with electric hookups. The area is peaceful and quiet and deer roam in and out of the neighborhood, often spending the night in the cluster of trees in the expansive front yard. The backyard is fully fenced so they cannot access it, which is nice because there are multiple garden beds as well as established grapes, blueberry bushes, huckleberry bushes and strawberries.

Take a walk, ride a bike or drive to explore the historic downtown area with fantastic restaurants, breweries, antique stores, coffee shops, parks, movie theater and outdoor music on the weekends. The Silver Creek runs through the downtown area. It's also a short drive to experience the Oregon Gardens (2 m), the Bavarian city of Mt. Angel & hilltop monastery (5 m), or the gorgeous Silver Falls State Park (18 m). Don't pass this one up, it is a rare opportunity to have all of this in a property so close to town!

Please note: We require a minimum credit score of at least 700 in order to rent the entire property. Please do not apply or request a tour if your credit score is below this.

Renter is responsible for all utilities. Must carry renter's insurance. Renter must also be responsible for yard and hot tub maintenance. Extra pet deposit required if you have pets. Any pets must be approved by landlords in advance. No smoking allowed inside either unit.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Trulia. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources. This description is from May 13, 2025
