Based on my experience, I would advise against sending your child to that school. The principal's behavior is concerning, and the staff seems to be ineffective in addressing bullying. My child was not receiving the support he needed, and I had to take matters into my own hands. After transferring him to a new school, he's flourished. He's more confident and happy, and I attribute that to the school's supportive environment. I think parents should prioritize their child's well-being and consider alternative options. The school's environment and staff's behavior are not conducive to a positive learning experience.

This is the best overall school I the school district.

Yuma High teachers generally support the students some more than others (Brown, Gastelum, and Lozano are the best). Some teachers need to be on their way out and it shows. CTE programs are a need to participate in. The culinary class is amazing. I would take it all 4 years if possible. I would recommend coming to Yuma High because of the class sizes and athletic support the students receive.
