8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience with Dean Rusk Middle School has been extremely disappointing and frustrating, and from my perspective, the school feels disorganized, unresponsive, and lacking in the support students need to feel safe and successful. Communication has been a major issue, as concerns are not always acknowledged in a meaningful way, and it often feels like problems are brushed aside instead of being properly addressed. The administration comes across as dismissive, and there seems to be very little accountability when serious issues are brought forward. The learning environment has also been difficult, with classroom disruptions seeming common, discipline feeling inconsistent, and teachers appearing overwhelmed. While some teachers clearly try their best, the lack of structure and support makes it hard for students who genuinely want to learn. Most concerning, I personally dealt with being attacked and bullied, yet I ended up being suspended over the situation instead of feeling protected or supported by the school, which was incredibly discouraging and made me feel like the school failed to handle the situation fairly. Overall, Dean Rusk Middle School falls short in the areas that matter most: communication, leadership, discipline, student safety, and student support. In its current state, I do not feel it provides the positive, fair, or supportive educational environment that students deserve.Student Review1mo ago24 Reviews - Sequoyah High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf you want your child in a safe environment, have an administration that actually cares for students instead of trying to penalize them for everything and anything, learn nothing as teachers, teaching method is passive, not active, stay away from this school.Parent Review8mo ago28 Reviews - Holly Springs Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is what I have experienced ever since my son has been in this school. The Front Desk is very Rude and Disrespectful. They do not follow their rules as they say. They choose who they want to let in without ID. Also, I have never experienced any school where I have to get an appointment before seeing the Principal of the school. No other alternative was made on who to see in case the Principal is not available at the time of visit.Parent Review2mo ago23 Reviews - Check out schools near 1439 Palm St.

"There are a lot of people walking dogs in our neighborhood! We don’t have sidewalks, but most neighbors are cautious on our roads because of so many pedestrians."

"I’m 6 miles to I575. Our medical center is on Chastain Rd only 15 minutes from my house with our primary doctor and many specialists and an Urgent Care Center 24/7. There are many great places to eat and shop, go to Church or to Allatoona Lake within 6 miles. We’re retired so we have no need to leave Woodstock even to spend time with our family!"

"Every one has dogs and walks them. There are dog parks around and restaurants that allow dogs outside. People help you if you lost your dog. I like dogs. This question is making me write more words than needed to answer it. Am I at a 100 words yet? I’m bored with this. Don’t leave your cats out there are coyotes and others animals that will eat them. "Literally nothing unless you have kids in school. Sometimes downtown Woodstock will have some fest (like a concert) and that's pretty fun but other than that I wouldn't say there's anymore community activities that are just open to the general public"
