great school with great teacher's that help the students by staying after school

Godwin has come a long way. My daughter is 6th grade in the IB program and takes French. She tracks all her weekly grades online and integrates technology into her assignments. She takes advantage of the afterschool grant program t/w/th that assists with homework, but still allows for team sport participation. She experienced some reverse race discrimination comments by students (she is white) when competing for a position on a team, but made the team and held her ground with the students. It is a diverse school, which is a good thing, but there are some cultural differences that need to be worked on. Also even more attention to creating "kindness" by 8th graders towards those in the younger grades as there is a big age difference between 6th and 8th grade - perhaps too much in this generation. The teachers are responsive but I'd like to see a bit more "spirit" and "pep" with the administrator/tive team.

I love the teachers at Kyle R Wilson, specially Mr Kurtz that was 1st grade teacher for my daughter, she love him. I love that is small school and all the staff is very very nice, you feel like a family when you are there. The education is very efficient.
