    "Love the quiet country living! Very safe and secure out here! Schools (Shawnee Heights/Berryton) are great here too! Our son has special needs and is finally getting the help he's needed (thanks to Berryton Elementary) but has only found since we moved here.Our teen also loves SHHS."

    "This area is very beautiful and very quiet. From my home on SE 69th Street, the schools (Berryton Elementary and the SH Elem/Middle/High Schools) are only 5 miles. Shopping/restaurants are only 15/20 minutes out of Topeka and Lawrence is a 20/25 minute commute so we are conveniently located "between" the two cities. Everyone here is friendly, the area is beautiful, quiet and secluded. Never any "shananagens" out in this area. Great place to raise kids - we have 4 (ages 17, 12, 10 and 4) and we all love it out here! We have the freedom of riding atv's, playing outside without the worry of heavy city traffic, we see lots of wildlife - all things you cannot do in the big city, but close enough to enjoy the ammenities of the city. A dream come true."
