The backwoods mentality of not wanting anyone new in the school runs strong here, and the kids AND adults will bully your kids until you leave. Not worth it. We didn’t listen to the warnings and thought it would be different for our kids. Adults bullying the kids is not an exaggeration. And, we contacted several adults about the issues and were met with “that’s how we do it at Norris.” Beyond the obvious political games, the education was subpar at best, and our kids are having to play catch up at their new school. We also have a friend whose son is wheelchair bound, and the school refuses to accommodate him. To me, that seems like a legal issue waiting to happen. They forgot to feed him at lunch, and when confronted about it, we’re defensive. I desperately urge anyone wanting to go here to look elsewhere. They hype themselves on sports a lot, but you would be better off at an actual winning program like Waverly or Seward.Parent Review1y ago - Norris Intermediate School
