"Edwardsville Library Park has several festivals, like Route 66 in the summer, Octoberfest in the fall, and taste of Edwardsville. There is a farmer’s market every Saturday during late spring thru early fall. There are other events like 5k’s, bike races, and parades."

"I've lived in Holiday Shores for 2 years, and I love it. Everyone is so nice here, and I haven't heard of any crime. There are 2 bars/grills which have pretty good food, and Edwardsville is only a 20 minute drive. The lake is beautiful and the beaches are well kept and equipped with nice playgrounds. Overall Holiday Shores is the perfect neighborhood especially for families with Children."
