Came from SD103 and couldn't be more happier with my decision. Even though my at the time 4th grader got shorted her 1st year at a new school (covid hit and shut it all down), I am very happy this is where we chose to move. The teachers and staff have been amazing through my daughters remote learning. Sure it's not ideal, but they are all doing a great job keeping remote students on track! Constant commuincation from all staff. Emails from teachers, newsletters from the prinifipal and the district. They are on top of everything!

as a 7th grader I thought it would be easy, but trust me there's teachers that don't even teach right. I used to like school and wake up happy but when I entered park Hill this school made me NOT LIKE IT. The learning is horrible some teachers just give u a packet of 15 questions and expect us students to finish it in 1 day, what if we have stuff to do such as soccer practice, doctor appointments and much other stuff. hear me when I say that the field Is so bad, they don't take care of it and it's so muddy.

This school is again really amazing. They truly care for and assist their students and how they really help them shine. My child has really changed and became much more confident in her abilities and has improved greatly academically.

2 of my 3 children have graduated from LT and 1 will start there soon. The ones who have gone to LT have found it to be challenging, supportive, full of caring teachers and staff, and a HUGE number of classes to choose from. They have gone on to be successful in college and ultimately that's what the goal is: to be successful in what comes AFTER high school. Lyons Township HS provided my kids with the tools to be successful after leaving, and one of my kids actually said that he seemed better prepared for college than some of his current classmates at his university.
